At InPlanet, we believe flexibility and team alignment can harmoniously coexist. Our working model prioritizes individual productivity while ensuring collective collaboration and business efficiency. — individual ~ < team ~ < company —
Typical Hours: InPlanet team members generally work 8 hours a day within 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM local time.
However, depends on your role and flexibility is important to us, and we encourage you to discuss any adjustments that might work better for you with your leader and team.
For example, team members in Brazil, South & North America tend to start earlier and team members in CET may be required at times to finish their days later to meet the requirements of the business.
Team-Wide Core Hours: 1 PM to 4 PM CET is our standard window for cross-team availability, including key meetings and collaboration.
Exceptions may occur but will be communicated in advance.
Open communication is key—we value a balance between personal and professional life and support flexible schedules as long as they align with team needs.
Time Zone Adjustments:
InPlanet hires only within CET-5 to CET time zones to maximize team coverage for global activities like weekly town halls, bi-weekly demos, and social events.
If you temporarily work outside these time zones (e.g., while traveling), you are responsible for adjusting your hours to align with the team and our core time zones.
All of the above should be reflected in your work agreement. Wording and specifications may vary across different geographies and jurisdictions.
While InPlanet is remote-first, certain roles or projects may require in-person presence.
Important: The majority of our Science and Operations teams (~ 25% of our total workforce) are hybrid/onsite in Piracicaba, unlike the other teams which are fully remote. If a role falls into this category, this is clearly displayed in the job description.
Advance Notice: We will inform you ahead of time if there is a requirement for physical presence, such as team-building events, specific project sessions, events, or offsite gatherings.
Role-Based Flexibility: Consult with your direct leader regarding any role-specific requirements. Each role may have unique needs based on its responsibilities.
